¿Este viaje es para mí?

This tour is suitable for any ride that wants to live an amazing adventure experience. Even though Alaska is far from eveywhere, it is still the USA, so main services are well maintained and roads are in good conditions. Time of the tour is perfect since roads are already open but mountains are still snowed, and some rivers and lakes still frozed so the views are fantastic. Temperature is chilly but nice, but still Alaska so never now if cold or rain is coming and need to be prepared.
  • ITINERARIO

We will meet at hotel, and will have a welcome dinner together. If you are arriving after 5pm please let us know. Tomorrow we start the riding!
We start of tour riding south through one of the top ten roads in the USA, the Seward HWY. Not a long day riding for this first day, so we can leave late, get confortable on our bikes and enjoy the ride! Night in Hotel in Seward.
After this amazing first day into the Kenai Peninsula and the spectacular Seward HW, we ride back north to Talkeetna and getting closer to the Denali Park. On our way we will be able to see the highest mountain in North America: the McKenley, over 6,000m high. We will have group dinner in this nite town on a local restaurant.
We leave Talkeetna and head North until we turn right into the Denali HighWay: an amazing 150 kms unpaved but nice and easy road where you will be able to experience the real feeling of being in the middle of Alaska. We will spend the night on a very local and classic lodge and will have time for a walk around the area, watch out for bears!
We still have some time to ride the Denali HW all the way to Paxon, where we hit the road again and turn south. We head to Chitina, where we will stay 2 nights on this far west style hotel & Restaurant: good food and drinks tonight!
Leave all your stuff in the room, since we will stay tonight at the same place. We will ride to McCarthy and the old mines of Kenickot, and time for a walk in the old 19th Century town. Also after a short walk you will be able to enjoy a glaciar view and maybe to walk over it!
Today we will be on a shorter but spectacular riding to Valdez through the Richarson HW, surrounded by glaciars, waterfalls and breath-taking views specially on Thomsom pass. Arrival to Valdez in the afternoon, time for walking around town and some beer!
Last but not less amazing riding day back to Anchorage since we will be for a few hours on the Glenn HighWay, enjoying the views of the Matanuska Glaciar. Arriving to Anchorage in the afternoon, drop the bikes, time for shoping and our last great dinner together after a fantastic tour.
It is time to fly back home, you will be transfer to the airport whenever you need

¿POR QUÉ ?

STAFF

We had a local team with large experience on riding and also large mechanic experience, plus 30mps organize very careful every little detail. So just get on your bike and enjoy the trip!

ROUTES

Due to our large experience, we know where to go, and most important, how to get there. Our routes are prepare to avoid if possible usual tourist routes and ride through the nicest roads in Alaska

ACCOMODATION

Even though we are in the USA, the accomodation offer in Alaska is sometimes below expectations. In 30mps we try to get best places with a nice clean room, and toilet inside (which is not easy in AK!)

ALASKA, THE LAST FRONTIER

I just got back from a trip to Alaska and all in all it's been an excellent experience. I had high expectations, after the magnificent trip to Vietnam with 30mps, but even they have been exceeded. The organization has been perfect, everything in its place and without surprises, with Joaquín the tour guide aware of everything and with Pete our second guide attentive and helpful at all times, a great job. The hotels are very good, including the Maclaren River Lodge, basic but very cozy bungalows in the middle of a dreamlike landscape. Varied routes, with some relatively easy tracks, although we already know that highways in the US are boring at 65 mph, but we only had the day from Seward to Talkeetna. And above all a great atmosphere, which we have all enjoyed, I think. Now to anxiously await the next tour: UGANDA.

ALASKA TOUR

I was very excited for this tour and the truth is that it has been a GREAT EXPERIENCE, it is a State of the USA that you cannot miss, its landscapes, nature, rivers, animals in freedom (we saw bears, mooses and eagles) its snowed mountains, waterfalls, gastronomy (salmon, cod) and its cold beers. The motorcycles, BMW GS`s in perfect condition, I choosed the 850 GS. The roads are great, wide and in good condition. We have had a temperature with maximums of 24º and blue skies. Another curious fact is that it doesn't get dark. Our 30mps tour Leader was great, 10 over 10 points as well as to Pete (Guide in support vehicle). Can´t wait for the next tour with this people!
